Purple DayPurple Day is March 26. Purple Day was started in 2008 by nine-year-old Cassidy Megan of Nova Scotia, Canada as a grassroots effort to raise awareness of epilepsy worldwide. People around the globe are encouraged to wear purple on March 26 and spread the word about epilepsy. The Anita Kaufmann Foundation is the sponsor of Purple Day in the U.S. It can be a great way to help increase awareness about epilepsy. |
